That might be the dumbest take any human has ever had about baseball. Does he think a coach wants to have to bat 1.000 on his roster? OF - Even with the portal, a coach may- brace yourself- want a kid on the roster that may take a year to develop

This is the tantrum of an uninformed person.

Yeah, this UVA Alumni “Writer” … guy has been dead set against BOC coming here, and has put out every bit of click-bait on his website saying it. Guy’s butt is completely hurting is all I can gather. I mentioned this clown in another thread.

Va-gin-yah and its privileged minions can kiss my skinny azs. BOC, from what I have read, was facing a lack of commitment of NIL money, no mid-week games, no non-conference weekend games, etc.

I listened to a MPB program, last fall, that had a lawyer from Ole Miss explaining NIL. The moderator asked him about baseball being a financial drain on schools. The lawyer said that Mississippi is unique that all three of the major universities make money from their programs, not just football. I don’t know where this Va-gin-yah toad gets his facts, but he needs to climb down from his pedestal and watch a weekend at The Dude.

This guy is really upset. Let’s see how long Virginia or anyone else lasts giving 11.7 or even 24 scholarships if schools serious about baseball are giving 34.

Doesn’t matter if you need it. It’s available, so you take advantage, if you so choose. How the world works.

You also don’t have to pay out 20M in rev share. But you ain’t winning if you don’t.

Pardon me if my reading comprehension is lacking, but you’re saying that UVA was/is planning on just playing conference games in baseball?

What a weirdo.
This is the same guy that wrote a column about how there’s no way I’Connor would leave Virginia for an inferior program. Only to write the next day, oh Sh*t, they won’t make him available for interviews, this is happening. And that’s with a Virginia fan talking stadium smack to Mississippi State? Dude has lost his damn mind.
