RU had a 1% chance of winning according to ESPN.

Interesting Top 3 are all B1G games....

1 - MSU/UM under 1%

2 - Illinois/Nebraska under 1%

3 - RU/Indiana 1%

Yeah, but that MSU win odds were with 10 seconds left. What were the odds of MSU winning at the start of the 4th quarter?

Cannot speak to the Illinois/Nebraska game.

Don't know Jelly. I'd guess it was at the lowest point which for RU down by 25, MSU before the punt, and Illinois down 6, 1:47 left, with Nebraska having third down on the Illini 27..

I agree ... my point exactly. The RU odds of winning near the end of the 3rd quarter, versus the MSU odds of winning with 10 seconds left are simply not comparable situations.

The MSU thing is simply a ONE play event.

I think we could have bumped our chances down to well under 1% if we had tried to pass on the fake punt.
