1st half showed us what we can be offensively. 2nd half showed us there’s things to improve on.

It was more their punter put us in some really bad field position twice & Taylor made one really bad mistake in an otherwise outstanding game by him.

Yeah. And watching “highlights” of the QB play a lot of ranked teams are dealing with, I can happily live with KT’s occasional growing pains. He’s such a weapon most of the time.

If you’re going to make a big mistake, that wasn’t a bad time to do it. He seems to be a guy who learns from his mistakes. His improvement from year 1 to year 2 (so far) & even from week 1 to week 2 has been better than expected.

The playcalling was trash. All they had to do was let KT pull it and hit the edge, and we would've gotten out of the shadow of the goalposts almost instantly. Back to back first downs on our own 4 and we hand off to Fluff up the middle both times when everyone in the stadium knows we're going to do it. DEs crashed hard. The first one in particular, if KT pulls it and runs to the left edge, he might've housed it.

On script, our playcalling is electric. Off script, it's predictable and shaky.

I agree with this. It does seem like a better option than the opposite. Maybe if he gets a few needed wins this year he’ll get more confident in getting more off script when we’re off script.
