if we were constantly improving, LSU & Tennessee were prime to be beat this year

My thinking at the beginning of the season was, good coach, small bowl victory, come from behind victory in egg bowl, big win at kentucky, big win over bama, some of the perennial powers will be down in 2008.......this was one of our best chances @ a 9 or 10 win season.......IF.......we were striving for constantly improving in all aspects of the game

I refuse to lay this season at the feet of dismissed / injured players........5 years in, there is no reason not to have ammo in the chest.

we would have gone 6-0 at home. In all my years, I don't think I ever remember an easier home schedule than what we ended up having this year. KY likely ends up being the best of the lot and they sit at a whopping 6-5 on the year. Auburn was certainly playing better when we played them but only an inept offensive performance pulled defeat out in that game and we outplayed KY but our kicking game just literally threw it away.
