I don't know if this is early commitment weekend but 4 MC players committed

DE Darin Graham to Wisconsin
OT Chase Clark to Oklahoma State
RB Nathan Samuels to Lindenwood
DB Isaac Saldana to South Dakota State.
I was hoping Illinois State would have gotten Samuels. Nice gets for those schools.
Rios the OT transfer into Rice who came from DePaul committed to San Diego State over weekend.
A couple of weeks prior to that the other OT Posey committed to Miami OH.
Amazing the amount of offers kids from MC, Rice and Loyola have in the Blue. I'm not seeing too much on Marist - I think they got a guy who has some FCS offers but not seeing level of other Blue schools. Rita has a couple of guys - their big incoming transfer committed to Michigan State. Laurence has Rice LB committed to Illinois

Typically you commit before the season starts. Practices start this week.

SDSU is a hell of a program.....and they also pay a pretty hefty cost of attendance which it's rivals in the State of Illinois do not (SIU/ISU)

It's a great program and the fact they play a somewhat "local" road schedule likely factored into it. He had an NIU offer (I saw him on his visit).

Saw a Rice DB committed to Iowa - kid mustve had a heck of a camp. He had some decent offers but this was first P4 and he jumped on. Insane the number off kids MC-LA-Rice have who have FBS level offers - most I can ever remember

I have the MC list if you want it. You can check the high profile kids twitter of instagrams too.
I think its a good move for Chase - Purdue is closeby and is in Big Ten. I think MC has at least 8 roster players formally committed and another 8 with FBS offers. Man that is a loaded team.
