You make sure you know the guy is going to accept the terms before you "officially" offer the job. This was designed to where there was no chance an offer would be refused. If Petersen, Wilson, etc. "turned us down", then they just never agreed to the point to where the offer was officially delivered.

Since we were able to redo Nutt's contract in about 30 minutes. Great hire, IMO, for the Dogs. Energetic, young, offensive minded coach for a fanbase that has been in the swamps so to speak for a couple of years.

Any word on defensive coordinator prospects?
