I hear glfr, dorn and boomer carpool to work in a replica General Lee.
When i was growing up in the 80’s I had a friend who would only get in the car by crawling through the window. I also had a sweet General Lee birthday cake for my eighth birthday. Loved that show.

me and a cousin saw her signing autographs next to a General Lee at a car show circa 1993, we both stared for a bit then he said "what the hell happened"? the Corvette turned into a full on F350 dually

I agree, nothing better than Andy w/ Gunsmoke a close 2nd. As for The Dukes, I never got past the first or 2nd episode I ever tried to watch, too much fake and bumpkin dialogue for me
In many ways Jessica Simpson has been a mostly unremarkable celebrity more famous for being stupid on TV than anything else. But she definitely did a great job in that movie....I'm sure Catherine Bach was proud.
It's not just stupid that she's famous for.
Falcon Crest? If you didn't switch over to Fantasy Island at 9:00pm, I don't know what you were doing with your life.
One TV household then, I watched what parents watched. I did watch Fantasy Island too.
Catherine Bach as Daisy is the greatest thing ever. Love Jessica Simpson's take but there really is only one Daisy.

While there were other shows I enjoyed as much, I think I can honestly say this show had the best theme song.

Boss Hogg stole those shows IMO. "Handle it Handle it Handle it"..

That guy was a great actor, Sorrell Booke. Showed up in all kinds of different stuff.
i had a cheap watch that you could set an alarm on it and when the alarm went off it played Dixie.
I think you’re thinking of Richard Paul as the mayor on Carter County, not Sorrell Booke.
