The trolls & low information fans have been petitioning this board for weeks to bring back RR & Casteel. They can't be happy about his 5-4 record with Arizona's three toughest games yet to come. More crow for the Marshall trolls to eat. LOL.

With RR's Big 10 disaster and now his PAC 12 struggles, maybe we can put to rest once and for all the ridiculous comparison between the Big East and any of the power conferences. You only have to look at Michigan & Arizona to get an idea of what our record under RR would have been if the Big East hadn't fallen apart with the best teams leaving the conference.

Rich Rod is not a bad coach, but don't think his ability outweighs the baggage. I think Bum Philips had pretty good definition of a good head coach when he said " he can take his'n and beat your'n and then take your'n and beat his'n ". Believe he was referring to Don Shula. Not sure I would put Rich or many coaches in that category. Arizona looking at a good possibility of running out the season 0-5.

Oh no, many of these people use to hang out with Dick. They were friends. Of course these friends had to pay him $$$$$ in order to do so. Hookers and Johns have a similar relationship.

I must admit as close as I can get to hating someone, I really hate that SOB. I will also admit I enjoy seeing/finding out he is losing (cause I didn't even know what, who, or when his team was playing).

Too many penalties and turnovers. Bad special teams play. Mental mistakes. Team is on a downward trend. Doesn't sound like he is ready to be a head coach yet.

Only if he and the wifey agree to make license to thrill part 2 Morgantown style. Did he leave because there was no budget to make these videos?

whew last night was ugly for Ariz. but one game against Washington doesn't really sway me one way or the other. if they'd have won, I guess people would say look at that we should hire him (or they'd say no no he sucks, it was Washington and meaningless).

what if they win next week, then lose, then win or vice versa? I'm not quite as fluid in evaluating what a coach can do. I believe it should be a view of their collective body of work.

31-18 (63%) since '12, 8 wins or more each season, two bowl wins and a few big upsets. Ariz quietly neared a potential playoff spot at the end of last season. no, those aren't Urban Meyer and Nick Saban numbers, but their not crap results either. especially compared to WVU's recent results.

As to Casteel, that is a big liability and I'd see his defenses struggling in the BXII just the same way ours has. That'd be my biggest concern.

As to a potential hire, have to consider who really are the realistic options that would accept the job and pick who has the best resume.

Let me get this straight. You jump on every poster who wants Dana gone because of our lack of success. Yet you want to blast Rich Rod who has had success at Arizona during the past 3-4 years because he's had injuries and a defense that stinks? Yeah, get off your knees and take a break. Dana needs to focus on the game next week.

In before GoWVU shows up to defend his family's honor

California Stat Boy will do some comparison like the last 7 games played for years 1,2, and 4 excluding teams with names that begin with the letter "B" to show us how much better RR is than Holgorsen and how superior The Big East was/is over the Big 12. It will all be there in the numbers for all to see.
