While they definitely needed a DE, I thought that they had to use their #1 for either a CB, QB, or OLB. They had been glaringly weak at all three positions and if they didn't take one of those, I thought Harbaugh might pick up a RB or someone else on the offensive side. Needless to say, I was surprised when they took Aldon, but man is that kid good. It's incredible seeing these crazy athletic, basketball player-like guys in the NFL now. Guys like Aldon, Jimmy Graham, and Jermichael Finley are changing the game.
