Do you think they go after someone like McElroy, sign a FA QB, or tank it and try for Andrew Luck.

I would go after McNabb. Get McNabb signed to a2 year deal, then get a QBin 2years and let that last year of McNabbs contract be a molding year for the guy they drafted. They will probably be drafting in the Top 15 again next year unless they win the division like Seattle did, so they should be able to get agood QB. I think they will draftsomeone like McElroy this year even if they are going to try and get a free agent guy.
Manny Lawson and LaBuoy weren't great but DE was certainly not your biggest need when you have all that you have available. You could have easily gone with Gabbert and not had to pay him first pick money like you got stuck doing with Alex Smith. Would have much rather them go with an offensive pick. I think they probably thought they would have a chance to get Locker or Ponder early in the 2nd round. So much for that thinking now...
but less do I think he is anything close to ready for the NFL. Looks like they are definitely packing up the year for Luck
