Say Monacan upsets Dinwiddie and Chancellor beats EV does Chancellor host the lowest seed from the other pods?

In this scenario LT (if they win) would host Monacan.

Highest seed would be home vs lowest seed from 17-18 and the lowest seed would travel to the highest seed from 17-18

That is also how I read the rules. if Lafayette and LT win next week- #2 goes to Lafayette- Monacan and LT goes to highest remaining seed- Chancellor. The only way LT can host a game after next week is if Lafayette loses.

East is different they wouldn't meet from the same pod until the semifinals

A lot of this confusion would be simplified if the VHSL went with one common playoff format across the board.
