I think that's wrong because they are saying chancellor is the 4 seed and EV the 5 which I think is flipped
This is what they have.
4A-E, 19-20 pod: 1. Courtland, 2. Hanover, 3. Monacan, 4. Eastern View, 5. Chancellor, 6. Dinwiddie, 7. Louisa, 8. King George.
Here's the way that I look at it: You play who they tell you to play. No sense worrying about it.
I'm tired of hearing this play who you play garbage. We do like to know other matchups and who is playing who so those of you saying that should look at the bigger picture and be a real high school football fan outside your own team!!
Have to agree. I could care less who the boys play or what their seeding is. You have another game. Win it.

(b) The winner of any games between the two tied teams if only the tied teams are involved. If more than two teams tied, and one of the tied teams beat all other tied teams, that team shall advance. Does not apply
(c) The team with the better record against all common opponents. Does not apply
(d) A team that played an opponent with an effective nine (9) game schedule (non-recognized opponent, i.e., home school or out-of-state non-public school, or inability to schedule/play a 10th game) shall be seeded ahead of a school whose opponents play 10 game schedules. Does not apply
(e) Schools that played an opponent with nine-game schedules shall be seeded ahead of opponents who played 10-game schedules. Does not apply
(f) The team with the highest winning percentage against rating scale- recognized opponents. Applies Courtland is 8-2 Hanover is 7-3
(g) The team with the higher average rating of all of each team's opponents.
(h) The team with the higher average rating of all of each team's VHSL public and VHSL non-public school opponents.
(i) The regional chairman, or his/her alternate if his/her school is involved, shall draw by lot to determine the playoff representative.

How did you have chancellor ahead of EV the games played out exactly as predicted. EV should be 1 point ahead of Chancellor
He may have given both Courtland and Chancellor two extra bonus points I have:

That makes sense.. last time he had more point for spotsy win giving both 4a win and bonus points.. they are 3a....
Thanks for the update for our part of the east . I was unsure how the Heritage/Denbigh game would affect us- it doesn't as you have against Churchland. But it does affect Grafton and since we would play that winner next it will be an interesting game. Big incentive for Heritage- win or done.
It was only for Chancellor I made that mistake I had the Spotsy game correct for everyone else. Courtland is #1 my virtue of the tiebreaker I showed above which is best winning percentage.
The system is sound, but its a shame we aren't going to find out who really is the two best teams in this pod. fredericksburg area will eliminate each other and Richmond area the same (not discounting Louisa) just saying..... That's the system we have, so lets play it out. Maybe next year we will see some more balance. Good luck to all the teams.

I would like to thank the AD's whoever came up with the pods..Playing Dinwiddie/Louisa winner round 2 then Monacan/Hanover winner a week later would have been a tough task for any team...The top half would have been brutal like it was last year for us, but I think this would have yielded the best results and the best teams playing

The top of the old bracket is nasty! Everyone would have to play damn near perfect ball to survive. It is what it is.
