I thought Watauga would get a 3 seed because they finished in a tie for 2nd with South Caldwell. They gave Watauga a 2 seed.

Wait, wait, wait. I butchered the heck out of the original post, so give me a minute to try again.

Yes, Watauga and South Caldwell finish tied for 2nd overall in the conference (both with 5-2 records), and South Caldwell beat Watauga head-to-head. That means that South Caldwell finished #2 in conference and gets a #1 seed due to being the highest 4A finisher in their split conference. Watauga finishes #3 overall in conference, and should get a #3 seed.

The results of the draw might've been reported wrong last night.

If the draw was reported correctly, then ND and Reagan will switch in the next bracket as long as someone from the CPC or one of the schools catches the error.

The final matchups will be interesting. AL Brown is one very dangerous 12 seed.

They made this move consistently this year in split conferences. Teams that tied for 2nd and went into different divisions both got 2's. Watauga got a 2 here because they tied for 1st in their division so 2 was the next best seed they could get.
