FYI to all. Rethink some picks here. No chance Courtland beats Ponax. It is not a game of the week. It is a blowout. A pummeling. But it's the Cougar schedule and has been for some time. Even Salem and LT would drop from the top ten if they played Ponax first because it would be such a blood bath.

Ponax is on it's 4th year of what is to be expected to be another undefeated 5A regular season. They are a top ten 5A. They would roll over ANY 4A squad with the exception of the "any given Friday" rule. And I mean roll.

Keep this in mind when you make your picks.

Well, Courtland lost to 14 - 1 LT in 2015. Not 14. I just figured you swapped the years. Simple error. No biggie. I needed no research to know that was wrong out of the chute. I took the rest of the numbers at face value because of the source and I could care less about them.

There was no random ranking. At the end of every season, the VHSL ranks the team's for playoff status. So they can say who plays who, when and where. Of the 12 in the West, Salem was number 4 based on how VHSL measures strength of schedule. Most people refer to it as the VHSL Power Point System. You may have heard of it.
