While I’m in agreement with 4B taking the trophy home in December; how do the Region B teams look. Who are the dudes, what are the strengths and what is the style of play for GW Danville and Jefferson Forest? I have only seen the Christmas coached Cavs with one of my favorite players of all time (Navy Jones). Do they still run the Triple? I heard GW has a stud RB that lines up all over the place but that’s it. Region C will produce one of the two oldest teams in Loudoun and both teams are good but it’s hard to compare them to JF and GW when I know nothing about them.

GW has dual RB's that split time alternating throughout the game. Lipscomb is averaging 9.6 yards per carry with 1,366 yards and 20 TD's on the year while Brandon averages 5.7 yards per carry with 1,129 yards and 14 TD's. Pretty much keep pounding the ball at you and by the 2nd half most teams really can't stop the run.

Something else that most teams find out about GW is how good they are in the Trenches. GW has a big OL and DL and will rotate fresh bodies in on both sides of the ball. GW plays power football you know it’s coming opposing teams have to stop it. GO EAGLES!!!

GW is gonna surprise some people. If you can line it up, run the football and dominate in the trenches like they do, that’s dangerous this time of year. Don’t think they’re on Varina’s level by any means but they are a very good football team.

Gotta be something in the water in Danville. Great win by JF (that’s a damn great team) but 42 points better than GW?!? With the size + talent GW had this year, I don't see GW ever getting over the hump and winning this region. It’s sad but true.

I’m shocked at that score

I’m not shocked at this score. Throw GW in there with Louisa. Always hyped up to be something at the beginning of the season then nothing.
Louisa at least showed up against a team that could very much win it all. JF is a good football team but Huguenot and JF are not on the same level (no disrespect to JF by any means). If I’m not mistaken, JF will travel to the winner of the Varina/Huguenot game. I’m a 434 guy and hope the Cavs can pull off the upset.

Louisa showed up for a few minutes in the first quarter and knew it was over. Could JF be on the same exact losing end like GW and Louisa?

“Showing up” is a bit of a stretch. Maybe for the big hit on defense which took place on one of the first plays. But it was over after the Lions went for it early in their own half and didn’t get it which led to a Huguenot score.
