Salem all the way to third and would be first most likely without running the numbers without two point early loss to Amherst. That being said , not sure if schedule is that bad. Amherst , William Byrd and Patrick Henry are all pretty good teams . Pulaski should be Seven win team.

IF the Amherst result was reversed Salem would only be at 30 still in 2nd and not in first.

Yeah Amherst needs to win out to get a bye but Salem also needs to win as well

Yeah, if Byrd, Amherst or Salem lose, it all changes. Byrd has to play LB next week, and you know Amherst has two tough games left. Salem goes to Pulaski in two weeks too.

I think Champe and Charlottesville would have to lose at least one game

Can Sherando still get in if they beat Skyline and Millbrook, or do they need outside help?

It looks to me like they would need 3 of the following 4 things to happen:

EC Glass lose both remaining games (Heritage and Rustburg)
Pulaski lose both remaining games (Hidden Valley and Salem)
Charlottesville lose both remaining games (Western Albemarle and Louisa)
Harrisonburg lose to TA (Last game of season)

AND

Sherando wins both remaining games (Skyline and Millbrook)

AND

Sherando gets nearly every possible bonus point from their opponents that are left to be gotten

In other words, it doesn't look real good right now. There are other upsets that could get them in but they are so extreme they aren't worth considering at this point. Should have a good idea if they have any shot at all after some of these week 9 games play out.
