If Park View beats Windsor HC is home Windsor wins GW is home
Glass loss last week may have cost GW the home game

For GW, it doesn’t matter where the game is played, they just need to win!
It’s going to be a great game for sure. Watched Halifax vs MV game and went to watch them again tonight against Tunstall and their defense is really tough , especially up front. They have a pair of defensive ends that are studs and solid everywhere else. They play tough at home too and from what I’ve been told they have been really banged up and are finally getting healthy. GW better not sleep on Halifax cause it won’t be an easy game for sure. EC Glass been a little off last few weeks and JF has been improving and Salem doesn’t look unbeatable like I thought they would at this point. This region has gotten very interesting !!

From what I’ve seen it will probably be raining Thursday into Friday, possibly letting up for the game, so it will be a muddy field. It’s going to be in the 40s again and that’s going to hinder attendance. This *should* be the biggest attendance since 1991, but the weather is going to rain on that parade

I’m debating going to this game or glass/JF but I’m leaning toward Halifax/GW.. I’m sure the crowd will be huge for this one rain or shine and hopefully the weather will change and it will be ok weather.. As far as the game goes I think wet field will play in favor of Halifax cause it will slow that GW offense Down some and make that Halifax front 7 even grittier than they already are. If Comets can figure out a way to score 24-28 points or so I think it will be enough to punch them a ticket to Salem stadium in round 2 of the playoffs..

I thought Salem has never played Halifax but I was wrong. A 6-0 win for Halifax in 1978 and a 7-0 win for Salem in 1979. Couldn't tell you anything about Halifax, to be frank. Would be nice to see them come to Salem and learn a little about them.

Shawn Watlington & Wesley Graves are back. I’ve been wrong before but I think GW wins this one simply because they’ve been there before (won a playoff game that is). It’ll be loud in SoBo on Friday. Move the game to the Speedway

A football game at the Speedway would be nothing short of amazing, however two infield buildings in the middle of the field are immovable and blocks this idea. With a soggy field, the winner of the trenches will decide this game
