I haven't seen this said anywhere so I thought I'd throw it out there.
Chizik was 5-19 before coming to Auburn and was given a pass just like whoever the coach at Vandy or MSU usually gets for his record at Iowa State, conference with superior teams blah blah blah.
Anyone notice that Iowa State has been significantly better on both sides of the ball since he left? The recruiting has been better and everything. Chizik brought in a bunch of 2 stars who don't play, so the "they're Chizik's recruits" argument isn't an option.
Just blows my mind that he leaves, they become better, he's mediocre at Auburn, and before the Saturday loss for them their fans still had his back... And no one has mentioned Iowa State's success post-Cheesedick.
