5 downs

This may have already been mentioned, but at one point in the game, Alcorn was given 5 downs. They threw and incomplete pass on 1st down, ran for no gain on 2nd down, called time out.

The down marker was never changed. When they came back from the time out, it still showed 2nd down. They ran 2 more plays and then punted on 5th down. It was one of the times they were backed up against the north end zone.

Did anyone else notice this?

However, we reallyshouldn't have tocomplain about Alcorn State getting a few calls at our place. But either way, I'm convinced that the refs call for the visiting school in these OOC SEC vs. the little guy games. See Houston last year.
