He just decommitted from USC!... Bray has been on this kid for a while now. I wonder if we can pull him to Lincoln? Man that would be HUGE!!!!

Man it would feel good to rope in a 5 star talent like him. Could be a game changer ala LaVonte.

Sounds like UCLA might be the front runner right now? I just know that he and Bray have been in contact and that he was at one time thinking of taking a visit? I wonder if we can get that secured now?

With Miles Jack leaving, he is going to go right in there and start. We gave a good effort, but he isn't coming here. USC or UCLA is where he will end up.

Crazier things have happened. Until he commits to UCLA (or any other school) there's still a chance. Juarez would flourish at Nebraska!

It is a great time to be recruiting the state of California right now. The timing couldn't be better to get top ranked kids out of that state-- as long as the negativity of a vocal minority of Husker "fans" doesn't sabotage it.

Give it a rest, we'very been told for the past few years by the vocal majority that what happens here has no effect on recruiting or how the team feels.

He's not talking about just message boards.

He's not talking about just message boards.
He may have been sarcastic about that, but regardless when Keyshawn Johnson comes out with a quote asking fans to be patient, we all have to know that he, and the prospects he is close to, are aware of the situation. Now, most kids wouldn't let things like that affect their college decision but it doesn't help and it certainly could hurt with some kids.

Oh. I agree whole heartily, my reply was in sarcasm since we were told non-stop fans don't effect recruiting in the past.

If you can get him to visit, you never know what could happen. He's a UCLA lean now, but if Bray can get him here for Michigan State, that would be huge.

Wasn't Juarez supposed to take an OV to the BYU game? Or am I mistaken?

I can't find an actual game listed as a planned visit for him. I would think this late into the season, it would be for the Michigan State game.
His officials are Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and Michigan. He supposedly has a long multi year relationship with Bray, so maybe...just maybe...we can impress him enough to pull him out of Cali.

The fact we're even discussing it as a possibility is a move in the right direction.

We'll get some of these guys!
