He is not getting 5 million .Rumored price tag for a starting QB in the portal and Raiola is listed as one of the top 5 options.
I wouldn’t think so either but who thought Matt Rhule would get another 2 years added at 12 million/year? Statistically he’s near the top in passing unless you look at sacks taken. He is not getting 5 million .

He should not get $5 million but don't underestimate the wild west mentality of college football. All it will take is the right two teams to want him. Hell Iowa spent $2.5 million on the guy from South Dakota State. He is not getting 5 million .
How do you know what the herkys paid?He should not get $5 million but don't underestimate the wild west mentality of college football. All it will take is the right two teams to want him. Hell Iowa spent $2.5 million on the guy from South Dakota State.
They got a better deal than we did.He should not get $5 million but don't underestimate the wild west mentality of college football. All it will take is the right two teams to want him. Hell Iowa spent $2.5 million on the guy from South Dakota State.
JMO but maybe Leavitt could command that much. I've read Sorsby might be offered $4 millon by TT. DR is coming off an injury and is already not mobile. I'd tell him that we need the money for OL to protect him.Rumored price tag for a starting QB in the portal and Raiola is listed as one of the top 5 options.
they sleep 3 days at the firehouse then have 4 days to do their real job, then they had the nerve to panhandle with firebootsI mean...you are worth what you can get.
It is really that simple.
There is a reason that firemen are totally "overpaid" when 99% of their job is sitting around, washing trucks, watching TV and sometimes putting water on stuff...They pushed for it and they got it so they are worth it. They were smart about it.
This is so true!they sleep 3 days at the firehouse then have 4 days to do their real job, then they had the nerve to panhandle with fireboots
Sure, but that is the same for every job, isn't? When you NEED them, they are worth the cost. How did this turn into a beef with firemen? Ever watch flames shoot out of your roof? You'll think they're worth every penny when its your home.
Assuming no one is hurt...you have insurance.
I am not suggesting that, I am flat out saying that. So? I don't get it. Are you suggesting that if you have insurance, that the firemen who showed up to save your home are somehow less valuable? Because of, insurance?
You ask every American who they think more highly of, firemen or teachers, the only people who will answer teachers, are one. Firemen rule. Who GAF if they aren't needed eveey minute of every day they live at their job? That's actually a great thing.
I am not suggesting that, I am flat out saying that.
And of course everyone thinks more highly of firemen! That is my point! They have done an amazing job marketing themselves as heroes and most of us have fallen for it! Yourself included.
You even admitted that they don't do much, if anything, during their shift and you STILL worship them. What they have created is amazing and they deserve all the credit in the world for doing that.
Teachers, cops, postmen, DMV workers, the other "civil servants" have done a horrible job at it.
I have been a part of taking youth groups to visit fire stations. I’ve heard firemen talk to these kids on several occasions over the years. My main observation is this. If you are thinking about going up to a fireman to tell them how much you appreciate them and how great they are, just realize that it isn’t necessary. They already know. This is so true!
They somehow have TWO full time jobs.
And they DEMAND hero worship.
Ever see them in the firetruck, parking right up front at the store while they all go in to get groceries? Unreal
You don't have to hope. It is already the case.I didn't "fall" for anything. They are hero's. They don't have to market anything..when they run into a burning building to save people, that kind of speaks for itself...and I hope they never have to lift another finger, I hope all they have to do is wash trucks, because that means **** ain't burning to the ground.
It is like the old joke about fighter pilotsI have been a part of taking youth groups to visit fire stations. I’ve heard firemen talk to these kids on several occasions over the years. Just when I thought you couldn’t get any dumberI mean...you are worth what you can get.
It is really that simple.

This is when you know they have done an amazing job. I am complementing them, I am calling them brilliant. But that is STILL not enough, people still demand more worship.Just when I thought you couldn’t get any dumber

They are brilliant! The marketing they have done is amazing....you've convinced yourself that you're complimenting them?
You think they are running into burning buildings during every shift! Think about that, that is amazing.
It was one of the very first things you brought up!Yeah nobody thinks that.
Could you be a fireman? People like you don’t understand the concept. They are there for the emergencies. You want them to have nothing to do. When they have nothing to do life is good, but when they swing into action bad things are happening and they are ready and willing to go into the fire or trying to pry someone out of their car or perform cpr til doctors can take over. Check out what insurance costs with no firemen available. When you have value you drive the market.I mean...you are worth what you can get.

We just need someone to “stroke” a check for $20 million and we be in the hunt.Rumored price tag for a starting QB in the portal and Raiola is listed as one of the top 5 options.
**** those Army soldiers and Marines. They spend 4 years training, never see a single battle. What a bunch of non heros. Signing up to protect this country when it isn't needed 99% of the time.It was one of the very first things you brought up!
1. How they are all heroes
2. How they are always running into burning buildings.
I'll be hypocrite 1A for you. I am a teacher, and I'm proud of the impact that I've had on the lives of young children. I also wonder why it seems that firefighters have it easy 95 % of the time.I am not suggesting that, I am flat out saying that.

Come on. Lateef brings a great skill set that Mr. 3.5M didn't have, but he's also got hammy issues. And he's built rather lean.Go with Lateef and spend the money on the best O line and D line we can get. We will be a much better team.
