Mentioned UNC as his dream school. Wonder if that is the kiss of death for UNC that it usually is for us when a player says UK is their dream school? In all seriousness, I like where we stand with him (and prefer his fit more than Kinney) but it's starting to feel like we might be losing ground as his star continues to rise. Hope I'm wrong.
Not sure about Rippey, but I think the cat would choose Pope.
Dude. If Lowe. Jasper. Kam. Mo D. Moreno all return. That’d be the perfect mix of stud OAD and vets. We’d have a starting lineup of Sr. Soph. Jr. Fr. Fr. With 3 Fr. 1 soph. 1 sr. And some jr’s off the bench. I don’t think we hit the portal as hard as we did this year unless Lowe. Jasper. Kam. BG. Jelevic all leave.
I think it’s very unlikely that many stay. Remember it’s not just the NBA but there’s a better than likely chances that there is transfer attrition. That’s just the landscape.
Especially true for young guys expecting to play. If the frosh and soph don’t see time they want to see, they’ll look elsewhere even if the money is a sidestep.

Don't know if we're out but in his latest premium article he says those three schools are the leaders...so i'd say he's likely going elsewhere...He also said Kansas is the leader for Tay Kinney
Well that’s not good. I was really wanting Rippey. I think he’s the best pg in the 26 class.

Sure seems like we are in on a lot of kids just from everything posted on here. I just haven't kept up with it as much because I figure we will get who Coach pope figures will be the right fit whether that be a stud freshman or a stud portal player that fits what he wants to run. We all know that we have the right pilot flying the plane.
I heard on a UK video our visit went great and they wouldn’t be surprised if he commits here.
I am anxiously awaiting our Cats first commitment. Rippey would be an excellent start.
This always seem to be the issue with these high star HS players, so many options. i hope we can grab a couple of them but I always feel like someone else is gonna snake us.
