I really love it when a douche like that gets checked. Kind of the reason behind my Beede thread last night. All the commentators, and apparently several posters here, couldn't get beyond the "well-spoken" smuggery to realize that Vanderbilt has some of the smuggest, douchebaggiest players and sports board people in the SEC. Their perceived superiority over us is laughable. I hope the 4 People who actually read "AnchorsofGold" on SBNation give their writer hell.

to be a little arrogant piss-ant, know-nothing, but this is just so bad that it's almost on a rugbdawg satirical level.
I mean he starts off by dogging Ross, as if he's some freshman from BFE who's never experienced success (taking jabs at him left and right). If he knew anything about college baseball, he would know that the All-American Ross Mitchel is one of the best in the country.
Then he goes to dogging Rea. Hey Einstein, I know we are just lil ol Mississippi State Cowbell Ringers, but Rea (the offensive lineman) has experienced more post season success than anyone in your lineup.
Overall, this is just a poor, uninformed article. It should be no surprise that he was off on his picks, though.

I was at the Saturday game and there were some Vandy fans behind us. They started out a bit to the arrogant side but about halfway through their tone changed completely. We had more than earned their respect in every facet of the game.
Guy shouldn't be a journalist, or a sports related one at least. He clearly doesn't know anything other than what color commentators or their real beat writer says. We went to the CWS last year basically due to Ross's arm, and 5 second google search says he was 10373792910-0 in relief last season.

...wow. I can get past all but one thing about the jabbing that he gave Ross: the fact that he called his praise to Jesus a "packaged statement." Ross is one of the most religious individuals I've ever been around, he leads worship services, and he practices what he preaches. I cannot stand when any player's religious beliefs are used to degrade them.

It's not religion though. It's any kind of generic statement. It's not even worth publishing. Post game interviews have become so boring, with Sherman being the exception.
My state flag is flying off my house proudly this week. Next door vandy douche (with flag) hasnt said anything to me yet. He is a nice guy. Just occassionally gives me **** about my car.
