He was a great players; that's for sure. The coaches do a pretty good job, usually, on this stuff. I would think someone in the VHSL office would be able to spell the name of the three time state champions correctly, however. I mean, it's only a four letter word.

Was the selection of Coach Fortune some sort of tribute? I think it's a wonderful gesture, but I haven't seen something like that done before.

From what I understand it was Coach Bedwells idea.He was the choice and told them no.

Same thing happened at the TDIT at the Siegel Centre. Nameplate on locker room read LC BYRD. Coach Cave was not pleased
