60th Midlands Tournament

There really should be a 215 or 220lb weight class.
5 years ago Rutgers would never been in the top 3 after session 1 of the Midlands.The tournament must really suck now. No Ohio State, Penn State or Iowa.
Rutgers didn’t wrestle at midlands 5 years ago. Or 6. They did wrestle at midlands in 2017 and came I. Second behind Iowa
However, yes. The tournament is much weaker than it use to be
Was it as dominating as the score? McGowan was a big time recruit ,was supposed to be their next Pat Glory
Gotta be happy with the effort so far...beating who's put in front of them ....showing some offense too so keep it goin.

I stand corrected. I was kind of figuratively speaking but I really meant during the time like a Jon trenge era.
There was a time there when you would see a number of post grad wrestlers competing at. Midlands. Back at its peak
Do not understand why Shawver chose neutral down 1-0 with the only 2 scrambles being closer to takedowns for Bucknell but it may have worked out
Sneaky good opponent too especially considering his seed was low. Won 3 matches at nationals last year and his 2 losses were to Shawver 1-0 and Bailey in SV
Mougalian has a win over Latona too. That’s a great showing.
Upset win for Clark. Goodale has these guys ready to wrestle
Oliveri appears to be turning the corner…his offense is coming together
125, 141, 149 all look really clean so far today. 133 hasn’t been pretty but wins have still come.
I was told Sebastian Rivera leaving would ruin these guys
