Turley’s biggest issue continues to be his gas tank….he just always looks dead by the 3rd period.

It’s insane that’s still an issue

Never a good idea to let a guy hang on top of your head for 2 periods in neutral. Even if he was in peak condition, that will wear you TF out

Gas tank doesn’t typically get better as you get to your graduate years. It’s a shame considering he’s so talented but similar to Soldano if he hasn’t hit a big move heading into the 3rd you don’t love his chances in tight matches.

In semis are 125, 133, 141, 149, 184, 197 and 285. In consis are 157, 165, 174 and 285. We have Soldano and SCW in semis and White and Barbosa in consis at 165. Not bad. Don’t know team race but in several bouts we get Stanford matchup.

You can always tell how well the team is doing based on who is and isn’t posting here

That seems to happen to him a good amount. Almost like he wants to be in that position but does nothing once there.

seems like Rutgers score is off. Midlands has Casale listed as the point scorer at 197, even though Poz has scored more.

No clue. There was a scramble with about 30 seconds left in the 3rd period. After they went out of bounds it looked like one of Poz’s arms was dangling by his side. He gave up a quick escape and then hung on for the win. Speculation on my part but it didn’t look great.

This is a good showing by the team. They had 11 in the QFs and have moved 8 into the SFs with guys still alive in the consis. We're in good shape for 4+ finalists, 2+ champions, and a team victory. Really nice work by everyone.

I couldn't tell about the shoulder but I thought he looked okay. The 2 early TDs were concerning.

Shawver has a stud in Davino who is redshirting and has beaten Ohio State starter Bousakis.

Yes. Shawver has a tough one against Davino and he doesn't look quite right while still wrestling hard every go. When he was held out of the Princeton dual that was concerning. I assumed that he was nursing something.

Would love to see Shawver win this one. Doesn’t help with ranking, but a great win nonetheless. IF Davino wins and then wins the whole thing, I wonder if tOSU pulls his shirt. He already beat the starter Bouzakis

I would doubt OSU would pull his RS.
If he DOMINATES the next 2 matches, we will see.
Is Nic B a sophomore?

Yes..Nic B is a redshirt sophmore.

If Davino WANTS to wrestle this year, it would be a tough for a coach to tell him no, when he beat the starter and doing awesome so far this year. tOSU already had some drama this year with Rocco. Sounds like he was about to leave because of this same issue. He's the best guy at 174 or 184 for tOSU and coach making him use a shirt.

Bottom line..these are tough calls..ultimately it comes down to communication between the kid and the coach, and the best wrestler should be the one starting if the wrestler wants to.

Ferrari/Arnold may go down tonight..that's another one which will be interesting as I think Ferrari beats Arnold.

If White and Barbosa both win their next matches, they will face-off which should be very interesting/telling.

Harer has an interesting match-up with Grigor Cholakyan (Stanford), who was also a very high ranked recruit last year and beat Barbosa in the California state finals during the UTB.
