We may have to have a committee meeting in chat to determine the seeds this year. This man is the head of SEC football officials. This man still defends the SEC's use (non-use, actually) of instant replay. His instructions to the replay officials are, in this order, to 1) assume the call on the field is correct, 2) defend the call on the field, and 3) only overturn any blatantly wrong call on the field.
I'm paraphrasing on #3. But #1 and #2 are his words, not mine. This man clearly hates instant replay and flat out refuses to use instant replay's strengths to make the game better. He has instructed his replay officals not to overturn any calls that are close. Words like "indisputable proof" play no role. If it is close at all, the replay guy is not going to overturn regardless of what the replay actually reveals.
His asinine policies assured Alabama and Florida of victories in every close game they played in.
