Trying to hit the ball gap to gap and not trying to do too much.
It seems like a lot of these guys hit the ball better late in the year as well anyway, for whatever reason.
And yesterday, no one looked tentative at the plate. I thought we had very good at bats for the most part and were aggressive and really attacked the ball. We seemed more confident and we seem like we are seeing the ball pretty well.

but we've been hitting the ball well lately with him in the dugout as well. We actually scored more runs in the games that he was in the dugout than the one that he wasn't in this series.
But I do see what you are saying- that could definately explain why they were more relaxed.
I think some things happened last weekend between Cohen and the team, and I think that there has been some give and take on both sides that may help us out the rest of the year.

What is going on? I'll admit that I have decided to pay minimum amount of attention for a couple of years, but I didn't think I would have to check roll for the head coach. Someone enlighten me.
