And 3-0 on the road when he is the leading scorer, including today and at Nwestern (Mulcahy led against Purdue with 16, but Cam played well 6-8 from the floor including the dagger 3).
And that's no coincidence. And 3-0 on the road when he is the leading scorer, including today and at Nwestern (Mulcahy led against Purdue with 16, but Cam played well 6-8 from the floor including the dagger 3).
Yes - nothing earth shattering but I didn't expect it to be 7-1 vs 10-9. If Cam plays well we can play with just about anybody IMO.Need Cam's offense. Hopefully we see more great to average games. Average games still ok. The ice cold games are going to be tough to overcome
I certainly hope he does average those sort of points down stretch, but a 17+ average (more like 20) should be directed at Cliff, not Cam.Cam needs to average 17 like he did last year. Needs 20s over the last 4 games to get there and help us win
Certainly tells the story, doesn't it?And 3-0 on the road when he is the leading scorer, including today and at Nwestern (Mulcahy led against Purdue with 16, but Cam played well 6-8 from the floor including the dagger 3).
no...if you are scoring 17 points per game and playing 80% of minutes and we have 63 possessions you are asking him to score .34 points per possessions. That is absurd.Cam needs to average 17 like he did last year. Needs 20s over the last 4 games to get there and help us win
What's the point of that analysis?no...if you are scoring 17 points per game and playing 80% of minutes and we have 63 possessions you are asking him to score .34 points per possessions. That is absurd.
Ok, yes, he needs to step it up and it all comes down to making his open shots. He is capable of going on a hot streak.Point of the analysis is to show how lofty averaging over 17.0ppg
He can average 17 in a 5 game stretch, but asking for that from anyone over the course of a season…..Ok, yes, he needs to step it up and it all comes down to making his open shots. He is capable of going on a hot streak.
I think the key to our offense is connectedness, evident by a high proportion of buckets being assisted. Our D is also based upon teh team working closely together, in rhythm, in sync, and thus disrupting the other team.He can average 17 in a 5 game stretch, but asking for that from anyone over the course of a season…..
I still feel the key to our offensive success is not contingent on Cam. I think it is more about success running offensive sets and taking what the defense gives us. If that means Hyatt gets 18 good shots so be it. If it means feeding Cliff 22 times in the low post great. If it means Paul bullying his defender in to the lane GREAT.
