Alabama just has too many good players that matchup against what we want to do. Plus, it's in Tuscaloosa so we aren't getting any favors there (of course, we've been flagged a good bit recently so we should be used to it). I think we can win a grind it down game against Arkansas and be able to score on them. Houston will bring out every trick and piece of motivation available to him for the Egg Bowl. LSU/Realrival/etc. BS. MSU is the game they have circled on the calendar right now. They'll probably pull it out up there, and the fact that we won't be as fired up as they are.

Not to mention Arkansas and Mallett. Our defense has been pretty good in scoring thus far but our pass defense has been a looser than I was hoping.

I want the hogs so badly I can taste it. The stars are beginning to line up for that game. Maybe this will be a good year for us to take them. However, the all seeing eye is still cloudy as to teh outcome.I'll worry about the bears after the hogs. The pachyderms will be what they will be. I have cast the bones on that game several times and they fall poorly or worse.

Bama is a run first team and no one has run on us this year. We bend in the secondary but not at the line. Bama is going to have to win throwing the ball and they aren't much better at that than we are. On the other had we proved this past weekend that even knowing who the best receiver on the team is we can't cover him so I expect Julio to have like 300 yards. If we can move the ball against Bama's defense it will be an interesting weekend. Uark and Ole Miss all come down to how much pressure we put on the QB. We control their passing game and we win, we don't and we lose.

haha nice spot studentdawg87. I think we will beat the rebels in Oxford this year. I have noticed that the majority of reasoning behind most people picking the rebels is the fact that the home team has one each game since 2004 and the Bulldogs have not won there since 1998. This year the Bulldogs have proven that trends and the past does not matter:
Georgia- broke a losing streak dated back to 1974.
Houston- We broke an 18 home game winning streak for the Cougars.
Florida- Beat the Gators in Gainesville for first time since 1965.
Kentucky- Broke the streak of the fact that the away team has won the past 5 times.
So if youre basing our loss on that, then dont.

I am not saying that we will win but we could beat them. The key to beating Bama will be to stop the run which we have done a pretty good job at this year. The second key will be to play the screen plays well. Bama is a team that will screen you to death and they create big plays on them. If we can get them in 3rd and long you can confuse the hell out of #12. I just do not know if we can move the ball against them though. If we cannot throw the ball we lose plain and simple.
