Hi guys,
hope all is well with everyone, family, and football...

Question: Do you see 7 on 7's as a good thing or bad thing?

My opinion is that 7 on 7's really helps a teams at the QB, WR, and secondary positions (the skills if you will). Depending on the circumstance I wouldn't see why any coach wouldn't want the extra snaps against an opponent. I feel that this is one of our (SC) downfalls, we don't put enough importance on developing the pass game; cant keep running our running backs ragged. I do see the downside as well .... your giving the other opponents peek at your arsenal and that could come back to bite you... the risk of injury...so on and so on. But just wanted to see what you guys think.

I think the western teams (Charlotte community) are going to be for 7 on 7's seeing the types of offense they use compared to the ground and pound eastern teams.... just an opinion.

7 on 7’s are great... til the injury bug bites. Then again injuries can happen at any time during the season. I’m all for participating in 7 on 7’s.

Man I hope I answer your question but for Tommy Knott's this is irrelevant because he has proven to beat the best with 3rd string at the biggest Dance. Ray Charles was a witness

Scots moving toward a more passing offense. Bailey says numbers are way down. Only 65-75 JV and varsity showing to summer work outs.

Give me 40 ballers and I'm good on Varsity. Seriously though every time I ride through SC their seems to be another abandoned building. 20 years ago there were more manufacturing jobs there than anywhere in SE NC. I want get into politics but this economy is not working for SC and has not in a lot of years. LOF Glass, Stevens, Abbott Labs just to name of few employed thousands from multiple counties. Change is not always good. Back to football SC will be a tough out again this year. Played with a half a deck most of last year and still did some late damage. I didn't see it coming. I saw them play Pinecrest and thought this the first time I have seen a SC this bad prior to the first year when Chip Williams arrived. Bailey and the crew showed me a lot last year. Nov 8 might just be one for the ages!
