Madden will face charges of kidnapping, rape, sodomy, and murder, according to KSP spokesman B.J. Eaton.
...
While walking in, Madden was asked what he had to say to the Doolin family, and responded "I'm sorry for their loss, but it wasn't me."

That's not the outcome I expected, figured it to be someone much younger, first time actor who panicked. Maybe that can describe a 38 year old just like it could a 15 year old. I don't know, something's odd....

I work with people from Scottsville and this has been the talk all week. If this guy is a part of what they are saying that has happened, the details of this will be much worse.

yeah I said a rumor of a possible cover, but I will not say who he may be covering for, or maybe helped. It will come out, I just hope the details of what happened does not. Sad.

Sick SOB was handcuffed and arrested in a Kentucky shirt. Listed at 38 but looked as old as 68 or 78, I kid you not.

Covering for a son. But you can't hide from DNA, so either way.....

I saw where CNN picked the story up. The one tidbit in their story that made me even sicker was the fact this guy's daughter was on the same little cheer squad as Gabby. Subhuman POS.

Cases like this is why it's so hard to argue against the death penalty even in the face of evidence that it's not worth it socially/economically/religiously.

I'm saying the rumor I've heard is that he is covering for his son (I don't even know if he has a son or how old he would be, just telling ya the rumors I've heard floated). I personally don't believe those rumors and they should be easily dispelled (or confirmed) by DNA and other physical evidence.

Everything I've read/heard is this was a reckless and impulsive crime. That typically spells doom for the perpetrator.

Has sons 17 and 22. That is just a rumor , started only because one of the sons posted guns on Facebook and said "looks like I will be needing these" and "child molesters must die" after it happened. Kid is a little different / not normal so people just kind of ran with that. If he was covering for son, he wouldn't scream "I am innocent."

He handled the interview good, didn't look nervous at all but that means nothing. He claimed they found blood on his clothes, if that is her's I'd say he is toast.

This. All those people at a game. Someone must have seen something.

I tend to agree. Having said that, he is a friend of the family so maybe no one noticed as she was not reported missing as of that time (I guess). She would have went willingly as she knew him. What a sick POS...to just decide to do something this disgusting and evil to a child. I hope he pays for what he did, with more than just prison for life.

Rumor prior to arrest. May have been two teens involved. One being his son. However involved he is, it is still disturbing. Cover-up maybe?.

I see some of you hoping for the death penalty, and this sick f&$k is definitely a candidate, but even if he gets it, the taxpayers will likely be sacrificed many many years of appeals and waiting for the MF'er to get stuck with a needle. He will get stuck with something else long before that, namely a shank, hopefully he gets a little inmate justice served on him, and hopefully the guards look the other way when it happens.

Blaming the death penalty for the morality depraved liberals who stick up for child rapists is absurd. The fix isn't to end the death penalty. It's to put the bs excuses as to why bastards such as this guy killed a kid to rest.

I don't think I advocated getting rid of the death penalty in my post. I am for the death penalty when the evidence clearly indicts someone. My point was this guy, if put in the general prison population, would not likely survive long. And hopefully that's where they put him.

If what is being alleged happened, there are very few crimes more heinous than violating and murdering a young child like that.

I didn't mean to come across as if you were. I don't like the "we should get rid of the death penalty because it is too expensive" gang. It's not expensive. The ridiculous appeals are what's expensive.

I think with today's DNA testing it's easier to ensure you put the right person to death.

And I'll all for placing stronger conditions on when to hand it down (kinda like it should be with abortion).

Howeva, I've been moving closer and closer to the other side because........Then something like this happens and I remember why sometimes people should just die.

Hmmm...

Bradley Madden, Timothy Madden’s oldest son, was arrested Monday night in Lafayette, Tenn. on a warrant from Scottsville Police. The 20-year-old is charged with making a terroristic threat in the third-degree and intimidating a participant in the legal process.
