Florida, the returning national champions under Urban Meyer, goes 9-4 good for 3rd in the east with a heisman trophy winner for that season Tim Tebow at QB.
South Carolina starts the season 6-1 only to finish 6-6.
Kentucky wins 8 games all year including knocking off #1 LSU in Lexington only to lose 4 of their next 5 games en route to beating Florida State in the Music City Bowl
Arkansas is coached by Houston Nutt, who leads them to a victory over an again #1 LSU. Nutt would resign at the end of the season and sign with Ole Miss the next day.
Ole Miss loses every conference game and fires their head coach Ed Orgeron after losing the egg bowl with a 14-0 lead in the 4th quarter.
Alabama is under returned SEC coach Nick Saban in his first year there. They win only 6 games, lose to Louisiana-Monroe, and lose to Mississippi State for the 2nd consecutive year, including the 3rd year in a row not even scoring an offensive touchdown in the game.
Tennessee wins the eastern division under Phillip Fulmer.
LSU wins the national title beating Ohio State and after a cluster17 of teams losing during conference championship week to become the first 2 loss BCS champion.
MSU wins 8 games including a bowl win for the first time since 2000.

Vandy finishes 5-7
Georgia under Mark Richt loses 2 games but finishes 2nd in the polls and smashes a previously undefeated Hawai'i team that scheduled 2 FCS teams, had a MWC schedule, and set all sorts of NCAA offensive records.

[h=3]Colorado[/h] Brennan originally attended the University of Colorado in 2003 as a walk-on. He spent the year as a redshirt.
[h=4]Dismissal from the team[/h] On January 28, 2004, Brennan entered the dorm room of a female CU student, uninvited, and, according to the victim, "exposed himself and fondled her,"[SUP][4][/SUP] a charge which Brennan denied.[SUP][5][/SUP] Brennan, who was intoxicated at the time of the incident, was arrested and eventually convicted of charges of felony burglary and trespassing[SUP][6][/SUP] (serving one week in jail along with probation until he graduated from college), but a guilty verdict for unlawful sexual contact was vacated by the court for lack of evidence.[SUP][3][/SUP] Brennan was court ordered to take a polygraph test about the incident and passed. He later showed those results to Saddleback College President Richard McCullough.[SUP][7][/SUP] After the incident, which occurred during a period of time when CU was experiencing accusations of sex crimes and wild recruiting parties involving several athletes, he was kicked off the team.[SUP][8][/SUP]

Brennan was arrested on July 25, 2012 in Kailua, Honolulu County, Hawaii on suspicion of driving under the influence and third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug.[SUP][38][/SUP] His blood-alcohol level was 0.17 percent, more than twice the legal limit for driving a vehicle.[SUP][39][/SUP] He was released the next day without charges.[SUP][38][/SUP] In August 2012 Brennan was charged with drunken driving but was not charged for the cocaine residue found in a plastic packet in the car.[SUP][40][/SUP] Despite entering a not guilty plea in November 2012,[SUP][41][/SUP] Brennan pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol on July 31, 2013 and paid a $300 fine.[SUP][42][/SUP]
