Laughable -----only shows your personal bias .
Fenwick's only loss on the field was to LA ---the undefeated team that probably will win 8A.
But then when you've got a mindset all else becomes irrelevant .
We're going to need the Fenwick faction to stop crying. This is Trump's america now, hide your lady parts.
A joke indeed. smalling is really good especially in yards after catch. but Thomas is elite the difference between a 4.55 40 and 4.35 is huge.

Do you guys really believe Fenwick would have beat ESL??? Let's be serious here football fans. Hands down, ESL was the best in 7A. GBN was next, and if GBN would have beat ESL, they would have been the best!
We'll never know will we? I'm obviously saddened about 7a overall and I wasn't rooting for (or shall I say against) anyone but I am very happy for the ESL kids. They were robbed last year and genuinely deserved this.

For anyone watching the Ravens Bengals game now the NFL just applied the Fenwick rule and surprisingly got it right!
241 total yards for ESL to 236 for PN. Interesting that if you look at the overall stats (first downs, yards, etc.), time of possession, etc. you would think it would have been a very competitive game, yet it was not. Biggest difference is kick-off return yards.

Game situation. ESL 26 to zero. Did you watch the game?
Yes ESL gave up some yards and plays (two TDs) late in the game. Personally I attribute that to two things.
1 ESL front seven playing both ways without rotation. Got a little gassed in 4th qtr
2 ESL took petal off gas on their Offense and went conservative to milk the clock.
Was glad to see them take a knee down inside the 10 in the last two minutes of the game. Quality coach and team that showed good sportsmanship. No need to punch it in. It's not college with margin of victory and style points.
I don't fault ESL too much for giving up the late scores when it comes to comparing them for the mythical state crown.
The team wasn't gas however they felt the game was won. Those touchdowns were a result of teenage boys being excited for achieving their goal. After the pick 6 the game was over and EVERYONE knew it. At that point, its either keep padding stats or end the game with a championship. PN had absolutely no answer for Jeff, which could have had 10 touches for at least 2 or 3 more touchdowns.
