8-22 Big games involving 1A/2A teams

Post some of the top games in your area for week 1 that involves 1A/2A schools.

For me, it will have to be Starmount (2A) at Mount Airy (3A). These two schools have played since the 70s in a very competitive series with the Bears having a slight advantage.

Both teams should be top contenders for their conference titles and deep playoff runs.

2A Tarboro at 5A Rocky Mount. Rocky Mount is expected to be pretty good this year. Tarboro is as well. Both should go deep in the playoffs this year

Gonna be a very tough 3 game beginning stretch for the Cardinals. They have a great coach and a few burners.. this should prepare them for conference play.

I finally managed to figure out what happened here. Glad to be back and ready for August!! We should be a good competitive team again this year. Lost our QB, but majority returning are all seniors. Going to be a tough non conference schedule. Bring on August!

I was referring to the new QB for Hibriten that came from Independence from what I had been told.
