NCPreps, presented by VTO Sports, is dropping the final 8 athletes in each classification with Solomon Award ratings—a statewide, data-driven release for North Carolina high school football. Our model grades every player on a 100-point scale that travels with them across classifications: 40% offensive production (with efficiency), 40% defensive production, 15% special teams impact, and 5% team success (record + RPI). We’ll refresh ratings weekly and publish updated candidate boards so fans, coaches, and players can see who’s surging and why.
