Many younger Americans don’t know what happened or who did it. I was at Ft. Monmouth in NJ at a DoD meeting. When the second one hit, we cancelled the meeting. I went to the Highlands Overlook and could see across the NY Harbor at nothing there and smoke rising and going off to the east. No airplanes in the air on the way home since I drove back to the DC area.

Fortunately my Wife, MIL and two SIL decided to leave NYC a day early. They were staying 2 blocks from Trade Center. They have a picture of them standing in front of Twin Towers less than 18 hours before they came down.

NEVER AGAIN!
