Man, it’s been a shot to the childhood this past week. First Kevin Conroy, now Jason David Frank (Green/White Ranger). Mental illness is real folks. Please check on people.

Loved him growing up. Dude was awesome.

I was never a power rangers fan but I saw him at Lexington comic con every year. Seemed to really love meeting fans. Always looked really happy and friendly.

Some of the former actors hated their PR roles but not Jason, dude LOVED being a Power Ranger. He was also an MMA fighter for awhile. Always a nice dude from what I heard.

Sad.

I was a Red Ranger fan but Tommy was cool. Sad on what happened. First Conroy and now him. Please God, protect Charles Marinet, the voice of Mario.

I feel like Tommy becoming the White Ranger was an action turning point in the lives of '90s boys. You couldn't find his figure anywhere after that happened. The history of the original show is a bit dark though. Guy who played the Blue Ranger was made fun of on set for being gay and the Green/White Ranger commits suicide decades later.

I never understood the appeal of this show, what so ever.

Some of my friends were really shaken to hear of his death. But I always thought the Power Rangers was some of the cheesiest **** on television. Saved By The Bell meets weird dance fighting. No wonder it was back-to-back with Barney.

How old were you in 1993? That will be the answer to whether the show appealed to you or not.

Regardless, what was hilarious was—with the show having to use the original footage from the Japanese show, the writers wouldn’t be given the material to use until like a week before and no heads up. They’d get it and have to build a script around a pig monster. 😂
