I run BFG AT KO2 10 ply on my Taco but I'm off road as much as on. The wife's 4 runner has Nitto Terra Grappler G3's and she's on the road constantly. I think she got close to 70k on her first set. I ran Toyo Open Country AT 3's before these BFG and they didn't last as long.

I usually go with Toyo’s. I went to my local shop to get a set of Toyo’s for my Gladiator, I was tired of the whine of the stock Falken MTs. Guy there recommended a set of Maxxis ATs. He said that he was getting good reviews and service out of them so he’d started recommending them more. $100 a tire cheaper than the equivalent Toyos So I decided to try a set. So far I’m impressed, quite, good ride, and good handling. He could have sold me the more expensive tires but he didn’t.

Continental CrossContact ATR Truck tires are solid, mostly city/highway with some gravel.

Continental TerrainContact A/T if more off-road.

I've got a set of Nitto Recon Grapplers on mine. Love them. They have an aggressive (enough) look, have performed exceptionally well off road, and are quiet on the highway. I have 15k miles on them and they still look new. I actually had a friend ask the other day if I'd just gotten new tires because they look so good

I run 3 Peak rated KO2's on my wife's Jeep year around. 15+' of snow this winter... No chains. No problems.

I run them on my pickup now through the shoulder seasons when we have plenty of ice and snow and can go everywhere in 2 wheel drive. If I didn't already have winter tires for my truck I wouldn't buy any.

Pushing 50k on the Jeep and it's time to get some new ones. I have been holding out for the new 17" KO3 pizza cutter 35's that will fit the Jeep without a lift, but they are still a year out sadly. Going with 34's I guess.

I don’t think you’ve had a bad recommendation so far. I run KO2 but good luck getting a warranty. Nitto Recon you can’t go wrong. Toyo you can’t go wrong, it just depends on what type tire you’re wanting. Don’t sleep on the Cooper AT3 .. I have that on my Ol CJ5 and you can’t beat it; I was hesitant but they have been golden through everything, and they are so affordable.

Truck tire recommendations. What y’all got? Standard full size truck. Mostly pavement, but needs the M+S rating.
I get used tires from tire tracks. Thanks to all the folks who take their trucks straight from the lot to the tire shop for new wheels and tires. I bought my last set of 4 Cooper Discover tires mounted for less than $300 total. Some of the "used" tires still have the little nipple things on them. They let me go in and check out the tires before buying them.
