Thanks shelby lion. I also said huss wasnt that good and they beat KM who blew out burns and shelby. But I dont do the who beat who format. Football is game of matchups. That's why both shelby and reidsville will win state. Teams wont consistently stop these passing teams
A win is a win. Idc who we play. Lol but playoffs is around the corner. That's when it gets good. And I actually brag about shelby. May not seem like it but I do. Make HS football fun. Instead of teams in our conference. But we cant help that. At least HP Andrew's and cummings used to be good along with thomasville

Well, Burns guys, y’all did win the jv game as if that meant anything pertaining to this game and going forward. Malaki Hamrick, sophomore, wreaking havoc out there, obviously wasn’t playing last night, straight varsity player, varsity as a freshman, too.

2. Burns didn't stop the Shelby offense all night...
3. We did best we could on Pryor, he didn't score, didn't break a long one
4. Burns passing offense was non-existent (great pass d by Shelby)
5. Shelby pounded the rock in the second half (the entire half)

Just an ugly game all the way around. This is a game of matchups, and it didn't favor us tonight. I know we're not as bad as we played tonight. The naysayers can say all they want. We have a good football team in Lawndale. Praying really hard for Starnes. The EMS did a horrendous job at their job tonight. That should be addressed immediately. Congrats Shelby.
I still have no clue what they were doing... When the EMS gets booed (after another crew got Starnes) you know they were bad... When the home crowd boos their own EMS, it's not good... They were bad

Unbelievable game. Both teams shot their self in the foot and burns just done it a little more. I get so sick of people complaining about refs. Come on they’re human just like us and none are perfect. Both teams better clean it up or neither will make a deep run and potential championship. Best of luck the rest of the way to the lions.
One call by refs was holding back at line of scrimmage..but runner went least 15 yrds..

We’ve got to fix that imbalance!! Can’t win like that! Offense was really upset after game! On to the next 1!
We don’t fumble early in the game when it looked like we were gonna tie the game and botch the snap on the punt and it’s a completely different ballgame. Penalties also took us out of our game, and our passing game was nonexistent. Also we could not stop the run in the third quarter, Shelby milked the clock with Phillips. We were lucky to keep it close honestly in the first half. Shelby made some big plays. Congratulations Lions.
