I appreciate it....but I still attribute most of it to luck and maybe just enough stupidly to put myself in dangerous spots out there. Just ask Coach Cohen...he tells me I'm an idiot on a regular basis...actually he calls me a lunatic (all in fun I think...i hope anyway) but I'm splitting hairs now.
Over the last few years I've had my hand broken at baseball (six screws and a small plate) along with a sackful of other close calls, I've been run over by Tim Tebow (indirectly made sportcenters top 10 for that one...and more directly made myself look like an idiot), been run over a few other times at football. Anthony Dixon doesn't exactly hit like a girl, but I still think the hardest Ive ever been hit was by Deljuan Robinson at practice...at least I think it was him....still a little fuzzy on the details(the RBs ran over out of their zone on a drill and I backpedaled right into the defensive line as they fired out of their stances....pretty sure if I'd been lined up with the goalpost that he knocked me far enough to be worth 3 points), softball has tried to decapitate me multiple times this year alone (starting to think they don't like me much), and I've been landed on or accidentally kicked more times than I can remember at basketball games (thought Corey Brewer almost cracked a rib once...I do remember that one).
But it's fun... Just the price I pay for great seats I guess. It's almost boring to sit in the stands now with nothing being thrown at you or hit at you or nobody trying use you as a tackling dummy or a landing mat. But like I said...most of its luck...its luck I ever picked up a camera at all and luck I was any good at it and its a small miracle that i ever got the chance to do this stuff for MSU at all...right place, right time and a lot of luck and persistence...and a little stupidity. Absolutely anybody reading this has had as much or more photography training or classes as I have...which is absolutely none.
Glad y'all enjoy it!
