Why let Asian Ruff and Taurice King slide when they were both clearly interested in State?

I understand Ruff might not be all-world, but at least he was good enough to get an offer from another SEC school (committed to Ark) and doesn't Mikhail Miller go to the same H.S.? Would have been a good inroad.

And King. So we have a bunch of LBs committed...so what? One of the gurus suggested we offered this Christian Holmes kid because his projects as an OLB and King projected as a MLB (and we supposedly have enough MLBs already). I think that is a little ridiculous. I watched Holmes' video and was not impressed at all.

Mullen is lucky that the youth of our team does not make this class a make or break class. What we have done, however, is made next year's class uber-important. I am not ready to call Mullen a bad recruiter. I think he is up against a LOT, as many have said. Ole Miss should frankly be wiping the floor with us right now.

I do think that Sallach needs to be replaced by a recruiting specialist. That is a wasted staff spot.

We need to get Robinson in the worst way.

That the coaching staff wanted to give those two scholarships to two other players.

but on King's scout profile it looks like he won't qualify. That would explain being a 3 star and only having swac offers.

one thing we've learned, is that every coach has the guy that rides the coattail.

Think many of you will find that this class isn't as disappointing as you think. Losing Thompson and Sanders hurts, but that's just how it goes. Ole Miss has won 9 games the last two year, you know.

He had a scholly but drug his feet too long. He kept waiting for FSU and then we got full at his position. He knew the risks, and he got burned. It happens. I think the guy will be a decent player, but I'm not heartbroken we lost him. If he couldn't make up his mind that he really wanted to be here, then let him rot in Fayettenam.

I believe our coaches identified that later in the high school season and backed off. His own coaches complained how he wasn't very coachable and not mentally tough even for a high school kid. He would fake injury if he felt he was getting beat on the field. I'm glad this kid went elsewhere.

to question Mullen & Co's recruiting plan. I mean it's not like he has spent night and day for the last nine month evaluating these kids, our needs, and making what he feels is the best choices for the program.

I mean who is he kidding? Crap, a free message board and $10 a month will get him all the info he needs on these kids.
