Came on here to find out some inside information & it's pretty obvious nobody on here knows what the hell is going on - it's all rumor and speculation this past week.

These supposed insiders with their fubar information have no clue - better off watching The View for a new coach...:flushed::flushed::flushed:

There are probably a half dozen people at this point who know what's going on.

Surprisingly???? none of them post here.

Relax. Have a glass of warm milk. Get some sleep. You'll feel better in the morning.

Here's what is going on - A guy who was officially hired six days ago, along with the University president & one or two others are trying to select a new football coach who will be able to dramatically elevate the team & strongly compete in the B1G East - the decision involves making an initial commitment that may be five years in duration and may average as much as $4 million per year - or more plus a substantial staffing commitment - so the total amount in question is probably well over $30 million ... so it is no shock that they may be taking a bit of time & no shock that they are severely limiting the information on their deliberations.

Well, that's the problem, isn't it?

We should have been "all over this" LAST SEASON and certainly half-way through this season. And since the AD was fired, I assume that she was not "all over this". And then that falls to President Barchi and whoever advises him on PR and alumni relations. He should have been on the AD's *** to do something or took whatever steps were necessary to replace her and get somone in to get the job done... SOONER than this.
