I have put together several pictures of what i would like to see in our next stadium expansion of Davis Wade. I took the ideas of Clemson's endzone to make something State could make their own. What do you think?

sorry for spending all day at work drawing a 3D rendering of DWS. Must be an Arch or Engineering Grad.

I like the lower bowl, but think you need to tie in the club levels on both sides and add a second club level (ie. two exterior levels of club seats) in the endzone.

Any chance you can enhance the already very good graphics and let us see more detail?

I like. And yes, there's going to be skyboxes. When there is demand for them, why not have them even if they are in the endzone?

The East and West upperdecks are too different to tie together without looking goofy. Its better to have a lower bowl connected and the upperdecks separate. Oh and keep Foil-Wyatt the <17> away from the project. Every ****** project on campus has a F-W stamp on it.

if the east & west sides lower grandstands are identical, as in the radius of the back of the lower level grandstands are the same, then it stands to reason that both upper levels have, proportionally, matching radiuses.....if not the same, they are w/in a few feet of each other. Biggest difference in the two upper decks is that the west side upper level does not extend all the way to the end of the lower level as the east side does. Based on those thoughts, extend the upper level west side deck to match the length dimensions of the east side, install those matching end-caps, renovate the press area & chairbacks on the west side & possibly match the back facade of the the stadium on the east side. After that, bowl in the lower level endzone, w/ stuctural aspects pre-built into lower level expansion for going up in the endzone. And if we ever reach the day we go to skyboxes / clublevel in the endzone then the architects may have to design a transitional type amenity to help disguise the subtle difference in the depth of the west side upper deck to the east side upper deck.

I base all of this on the fact that the proportions of the stadium appear very close when you look at it on google maps, & bing maps

that the boxes and club level is what will pay for the next expansion. From what I hear, that demand is already there for the boxes. So, I would think there would be club level and 2 stories of boxes that connects around to what we have now.

No, I don't claim to be privy to "super secret meetings", that's from his public comments every time it comes up.

I like the concept and the look, but I'd like to see us update/renovate the east side of the stadium as well. If not *first*, at least at the same time as we bowl in the North end zone.

We could add on two extra sections onto the upper deck as we do the endzone expansion. Seems like we would get 60-65K capacity at that point.

I always thought a hotel/conference building attached would be a great addition. Any thoughts?

I do wonder when the expansion will happen. Obviously, there is no reason for extra seats next season since our home schedule will not be as attractive. However, in 2011 we would likely benefit from extra seats, but may not yet need that many. My guess is 2013 or 2015 for an expansion.
