It was HOT AS HELL.
Ladd - Peebles ran out of water halfway through the second qtr.
The stadium sucked and we should never ever play another sunbelt team on the road. That place is embarrassing.

My family and I left right before the scoring borage in the second qtr. My kid looked like she was about to pass out..
About thirty mins from home by the end of the game. Yay!

More notes on the experience and not the on field play;

I've never stood in line as much in one day as I have today. Shuttle there, line to get in the stadium took forever, took longer to get up the ramp, beer lines, beer lines, lines to get back on the shuttle bus, lines to skip the shuttle and pay the sketchy guy with a church bus to out my life in his hands. Shortest line was for the bathroom at the target.

Their atmosphere was good, their band was good. I got pretty damn tired of their first downs because their fans let you know about it. I noticed their band and fans were good last time they came to Starkville, and they only do a better job at home. All that ended after the half.

Our atmosphere: much better without the jumbotrons and music. We had a tiny band (7 tubas, hats off to you jack) and they did a pretty good job between defensive downs. The slow buh, duh, duh, daaa would be nice on 3rd downs at home if we could get the dj to shut up. We even played the game of thrones theme a few times.

It wasn't just water, they had nothing cold at the end of the 2nd.... Including ice.

I had a bottle that I filled with sink water that was pretty hot, and I poured it over some ice in a cup that the beer people gave me.

Fun fact: the MSU area concessions were the only ones to run out of water and cold stuff, and had worse lines because there were no registers.

The bathroom sink water had no other option besides hot. Btw, they had a really efficient bathroom. More pissers than seats in the stands. I liked the two pisser bulkhead where you could stare another dude in the face while you both pissed... Efficient.
