From Howland:
- Eli Wright can hit head on rim.
- Sword could have been an NBA player if he'd had him 4 years.
- He's glad to see the floor go as it "wasn't great" for injury prevention.
- When asked if Q is ready to be the man, he said, "I think Q was already the man at the end of the year."
- "Though I can't say a lot of things specifically, we'd love to have a lot of Q's family as part of our family."

Mullen:
- "I have no intention of ever leaving.... I'm going to be here as long as [Keenum and Stricklin] want me to be here."
- Job rumors are really an honor to all of us and the good things going on at State.
- "I have no idea who is going to be our starting quarterback."

If he would say that publicly in the press, he would catch a lot less grief. It should be pretty much common sense for him that it doesn't help the program. It makes him look unhappy, and it negatively impacts recruiting.

Dismissing it as an honor might be true, but it's a ****** way to handle it. Like others have said, if this was year 3 of a relationship I'd get it. But we've made him one of the longest tenured coaches in the SEC. Put the 17n ring on and flaunt it. Don't hide your hand in your pocket.

Don't think it will matter how many times, and where, he says it, there are those who will not believe it, nor be satisfied......he has made the same comment at more than one stop on this go-round and made it to the crowd that matters most. I'm pretty sure there might be folks from the media in those events. The only thing in the past that would have prompted him to leave was the issue of a person's ego. As you get older, priorities in your life change. I expect him to be with us until his performance warrants a change by us.

He's made these comments time and time again. Media members are at these events to. People are going to constantly flip out, regardless.

Eh - he could come out and say it when the rumors start flying again. But if I was him - I would never say it either.

He has.

This past, annual-go-round, he came out at one event, when media members asked him, and he refuted it.

There was an

interview in that time frame, I remember distinctly, where he got upset w questioning from media, and he more or less said he gets tired of these annual events that go on (alluding to the rumors), and having to answer them over and over and over.
