A follow up to your Relf vs Russell question

Do you think if Mullen decided to start Russell he would tweak the offense to fit his strengths? Maybe more of an offense that resembles Auburn maybe. A little less of the power running game and more trying to hit the edges quick, moving the pocket to let Russell get the ball out quick and take some of the pressure off your O-line. I realize Russell hasn't looked overpowering, but considering i'm an Ole Miss guy just wondering what it would be like to see a coach work his offense to fit the QB's strengths.

We'd use a lot more quick passes and more play action and virtually zero spread option unless we ran it out of the wildcate with Lewis or Bumphis or Ballard leading it.

If you're going to put Russell back there it's because you want to sling it more.

If we ran Favre out there you'd see a lot more rollouts simply so he could see and he's a better runner than Russell.

Hasn't he already shifted the offense to fit Russell better? Am I the only one who notices?

O-lineman I assure you it's easier to pass block than run blocking .... with this thought in mind I think it would be easier to set up for a pocket passing type of QB but then we are left with recvrs that are open less than half the time ..... almost a catch-22 situation. I have seen them open many times down field but theywere never seen by Relf or the throw was off ... I think Dan wants to mix things up but is just to limited with the talent he has to work with right now
