what hurts the most is seeing the writing on the wall with mullen. he doesnt have it anymore. he is a one trick pony that forgot how to do his trick. and here we are staring down the barrel of the other sec coaches where everyone across the board has upgraded.
saban, richt, muschamp, spurrier, jones, franklin, freeze, pinkel, miles, stoops, sumlin, malzahn, bielema ....there simply arent many names i would put mullen in front of. stoops, pinkel maybe, jones maybe.....from then, i cant justify him being ahead of any other guys. its a sad realization that our coach that was once considered in the top half of the league has us in the bottom quarter of coaches all over again, and its looking like we are on the bad side of the coaching wall. more disparagingly, he is getting his *** handed to him on the recruiting trail by almost everybody on that list. the come-to-Jesus that we needed to take place this offseason never happened and we are stuck with no answers and facing probation. really poor preparation all the way around.
