When people cant have their job held over their head, they more often vote differently.
I think Trump's primary threats against Massie were terrible. They even tried to call him a Democrat for being more conservative/libertarian than Trump. [anything less than unwavering devotion = Democrat in disguise]
I have no problem with a president disagreeing with a member of their party and expressing disappointment in a vote, but to just spew lies and threats because a conservative Congressman in a conservative district is voting his conscience and district is indefensible.
In this particular case, I don't think Massie is affected all that much. He seems pretty comfortable in his own skin (and his district*). It was just a really bad look for the administration, imo.
