fired for many of the same reasons our fanbase is frustrated with Mullen. I hope we don't do the same thing in a few years.

A great coach?
Obrien ran a clean program and occasionally won some big games. He never recruited worth a damn and couldn't consistently win in a weak conference with the only football first fan base in the state (outside App State).
He's more Croom than Mullen, and whether or not he should've been fired this year, he'd clearly hit his ceiling. He'll be a good coordinator elsewhere, he's a good guy.
